Frost and Solar reflective film
One of the most common questions we are asked is “how does Privacy Film work”. There are a couple of options with film to get privacy that allows you to see out the windows in daylight and not see in from the outside. Other privacy films just stop visibility both ways, seeing out and seeing in. An example of a situation where a customer had a balcony across the front of their house , they were very visible to people from the street and felt quite exposed. We installed a Frost film to the glass panels, which allows light through but stops visibility both ways . It also enhanced the appearance of the property.
Many of our installations, where privacy is the problem, we use a silver mirror reflective film which gives one way vision in daylight as it reflects the strongest light. This gives a mirror effect on the outside. It also reduces 78% of direct heat, 84% glare and 100% harmful UV rays. Therefore stops fading of furniture and fabrics. The film also gives added security as your possessions are not on display and it strengthens the glass making it more difficult to break the glass.
